Favorite Things Friday

Today is Friday. . . OH man, I am soo ready for Friday this week!

With all of the crumbly! snow falling AGAIN!! I've been seriously thinking about my favorite flowers! tulips! spring please come!

I just saw this knot necklace on etsy! OH I love it! What a cool take on ruffles.

I love daffodil's as well! makes me think of spring. . .

Spring in Michigan means. . . rain! yup and melting snow. So everything is wet and soggy! YUCK! This year, I must say, I really want to get some rain boots. These bogs are adorable, but with a heavy price-tag. Suggestions for cheaper boots? I've seen some at Target. . . but I don't know if they are any good?

LOL (well I've owned it before. . . just not the color! hahahaha) A bit darker than I wanted, but Tom LOVES!!! it. OMG! it would be TMI if I went into great detail about how much he loves it ;) wink wink!

Tom's eating. . . or licking his yummy paczki! LOL Today was his off-site day. Yeah, I may have forgotten to mention, but he's a software developer for a company and he and two other programmers get one off-site day a week! (They still have to work, but still!!) So, he drove me to work today (parking is horrible! I had to park like a half a mile away from my office the other day. Honestly, if it was like 20 degree's warmer I wouldn't mind walking but it was like 12 degrees out yesterday! COLD!!!)

Still cold outside too! North Face don't fail me! First bite of lemon paczki! YUMMY

It was glazed and I got it all over my face. Good thing Tom was there to capture the moment.

Anyways, I am starting to feel better, however, my chest is breaking up and the coughs have started! WEEE!!

But, I am very excited that my friend Jessie purchase a pair of earrings from my shop! YAHOO!! Sorry I get overly excited!

Excitement after a Cold

So, this weekend has been some-what low-key. Guess all of the excitement of opening my shop and painting faces at a restaurant for Mardi Gras' kid's night landed me with a clogged chest on Saturday Morning.

Tom's been a great guy taking care of me. So with rest and relaxing with the cats Sunday is looking brighter-no pun intended because it is actually very sunny outside right now.

Anyways, I went into the bedroom to get my i-pod touch to check in on my emails (watching patiently to see if I get any orders!) and I got an email from my friend Dani. I was featured on one of Etsy's emails. Emerging Designers!

Don't mean to take up this post with my plugging for my shop, but I'm just soo excited! I'm putting the finishing touches on a hat that I plan on putting up soon! So look for it! Maybe, I'll have another coupon! :)

For the rest of my day though. . . plans are to get better completely! Hamlet doesn't mind, he's sleeping right next to me. Course it helps that I have the heated blanket running! Haha!
